Research has shown that the pool gate will probably be the first place a child will go to try to access the pool. Knowing this our goal is to make this component of the pool fence as strong and safe as possible. That’s why our pool gates look different than everyone elses. Most pool gates use thin walled hollow poles or cheap tubular poles, not the case with our gates. Our super ridged posts are constructed with 3/8” thick rectangle aluminum walls with a 1” diameter solid aluminum pole in the center. Pool Fence Questions
Installing a pool fence is very different than installing a pool cover. It requires a greater amount of precision that is only achieved with the use of a diamond core drill. The holes are drilled on precise angles to insure proper tension is applied to make it safe, so new holes must be drilled for the fence.
Our fences are made with textiles mesh which is actually a nylon mesh that is coated with a PVC coating that resists things like acid rain, hot, and cold climates, its UV protected so it won’t shrink, stretch, or get hard and brittle being left to the elements like many other brands. Our poles are stronger because they have an extrusion that runs the full length of the pole, not like some of the other brands that tout a solid pole, when its actually hollow pole. Our latches and springs are 100% stainless steel, most only have stainless steel springs so the latches will rust.
Our gates don’t use typical pool fence poles like our competitors. We use 3/8” thick rectangular stock gate post that are 325% heavier than the competitor’s gate posts with a solid 1” core in the center. The gates are also key lockable making it it tamper proof.
Yes, we offer a variety of color combinations that will compliment any backyard decor. The most common color, however, is black. The reason why black is most common is because its the most transparent color fence, much like the screens on windows and doors are black for the same reason.
The dirt is not suitable for the fence to be safe. Dirt is too soft for the fence to be safe and tensioned, so in areas that require it to be installed into dirt cement footing will be needed adding to the cost of the fence.
The most common height for the fence 48” high, we also have a 60” tall fence available.
Removable pool fences are much harder for a child to climb than say your typical chain link fence because there are no horizontal members for a child to grab and climb over. The holes in the mesh don’t allow for hand holds or foot holds like other fences.
When installed properly the tension on the fence does not allow the child to simply lift it out of the hole. It takes the height and the hand strength of an adult to remove the fence.
